Sky Ferreira: From back door to front row.
A few years back I decided to beat the line at one of my weekly parties and cut threw the back door. While dodging threw the rats, dumpsters and garbage juice, I stumbled upon an unlikely back alley beauty; This big haired, petite lil' wonder stared back at me and said with a strong voice "You're that Cobrasnake guy aren't you?". With that, our impromptu photo-shoot began. After sneaking my lovely new friend into her first night club, she finally introduced herself to me, while smacking on some bubble gum that stuck to her braces "I'm Sky Ferreira and I'm gonna be a Star". And that is exactly what she did.In only a moments time, Sky hitched her mini van of dreams from Tinsel Town to The Big Apple, which usually is the other wan around in Show Biz. Dubbed the "Next Big Thing" for the last couple of years, she is putting the final touches on her most anticipated Freshmen album.
I recently ran into my long lost buddy during a visit to New York for Fashion Week. There she was, all grown up! Braces off, hair a tad more tame and sitting front row at the Calvin Klein show. We decided to have another photo shoot, very reminiscent of our first, only this time my Lolita of Pop, Sky Ferreira is now the face of ck one. You come a long way baby!
